What kind of blog is this?
This is Red Mage Gaming (RMG if you like acronyms), an informal, causal blog where I’ll be discussing a little of everything. Previews, trailers, commentary, some satire, and of course, reviews.
Why red mages?
They’re a hybrid class, which is fairly representative of what this blog is. It’s not focused totally on any one subject so it’s more casual reading. Besides, they have awesome outfits and they can attack and heal at the same time.
Do you review games on request?
This blog is still new on Gamer Limit, so I’m tentative to answer that. I can review games by significant popular demand, or if the game catches my attention in some way or another.
How long have you been blogging about videogames?
Since March of 2008. I started off as an informal video game news source on my college campus called Capitol Gaming. That worked out fairly well, but since I’m a senior as of this writing I decided it was a good idea to find a more specific venue.
So how did you get here?
I know Jamie Obeso from a forum we both go to. He made a post concerning how Gamer Limit had made it onto Metacritic, and I’ve been interested in the site ever since.
Do you have a favorite game that you reviewed?
It’s impossible to select just one. As much as that sounds like a cop-out, I’ve been fortunate enough to review some really amazing games. My all star favorites have been Tales of Vesperia, Mass Effect, Saints Row 2, Call of Duty 4, and Ninja Gaiden II.
